Katherine Liebman

Katherine Liebman obtained her PhD in Fall 2014 from Portland State University, where she worked on the synthesis of antimalarial drug candidates. Since graduating she has worked at DesignMedix, a small pharmaceutical startup developing small molecule drug candidates for infectious disease. While at DesignMedix she has assisted with regulatory activities, including the development and management of a Quality System, and submission of an Investigational New Drug application (IND) for a Phase 1 clinical trial of a malaria drug candidate.
