Janina Malone

Janina Malone joined McCoy Russell LLP in 2017 as a Senior Counsel. For almost 20 years she has helped start-ups, universities, and Fortune 500 companies identify and protect their intellectual property. Her patent preparation and prosecution experience includes biotechnology, chemistry, medical devices, mechanical devices, machine learning, data analytics, and digital health. Janina received her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and her Masters in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis. Janina is active in the local start-up community and currently serves as a Biomentor for the Oregon Bioscience Incubator and has also contributed to multiple events for the Oregon Bioscience Association.
